Gandalf was lost until he found cat food in a backyard in New Haven. He's very tame, so he must have been somebody's pet,
and only recently became stray. He stayed in that backyard for a while, until he was injured by neigborhood males. He lived in the basement over the winter and tried to move in upstairs with the old cat. But now, its been a while, and the old cat still won't accept him. So Gandalf would be better off in a different home. Your home! He is a premium cat, gentle, social, and he acts young. He might be 2-3 years old. He had shots and is in good health, negative for both, and is neutererd. His short hair is mainly white with a slightly grey hood, with two black spots on his face, and amber
eyes. He could probably get along with mellow cats. He's big and he likes to move
aound. Contact stenoplax@yahoo.com if this is the cat for you.

Nitro, Kahuna and JeepJeep
are no longer
allowed to be in their apartment by the landlord. All are spayed and
neutered, have their first year shots, and are now two years old. All three are
very loving and friendly. They have only lived with adults but I don't suspect
there would be a problem with children. They are indoor cats. They each have
cerebral palsy, which just causes them to be a bit wobbly when they walk. Kahuna
has it very mildly, Nitro not too bad, and Jeep Jeep is the most wobbly. But
they all get around on their own just fine! Nitro and Jeep Jeep are female and Kahuna is male. Contact Genevieve between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, at (203) 401-4227 Ext. 123, cell: (203) 815-7447 or by e-mail to gmunoz@fellowshipplace.org

Cheetah, Puffy and Smokey
were dropped off and I took them in because I didn't want anything to happen to them. I figured that I could find somewhere for them to go but it has turned out to be much more difficult than I expected. My landlord does not want them here anymore and I NEED to find homes ASAP! The gray one and the brown white tiger are males. The black one is female. I don’t know the status of their shots. Puffy, the tiger one is very much a lap cat and loves attention. Cheetah, the grey one likes attention but will not stay on your lap, however he is very mellow cat. Smokey, the black one likes attention but will not sit in your lap. She is very much to herself but is mellow. If interested contact Jean at (860)788-2433 or jean.milardo@comcast.net.

Wanted: A Very Special Cat Lover!
Jakie
was one of two semi-feral male cats fed by and friendly with occupants of a senior complex in West Haven. Unfortunately, he came out second best in a fight. He was taken to a vet for repairs and has recovered nicely. Jakie is very reserved as once-feral cats are but is responding nicely to care and affection - he is very playful and loves to be petted and brushed. He has a soft, shiny coat and gold eyes. He is FIV positive (not a risk for humans) and cannot be allowed outside. We must find a home for him as we can’t let him mix with our own cats. Jakie is probably six or seven years old, is current with his shots and has been neutered. He will require patience and loving care but will respond positively once in a home of his own and reward his special, feminine caretaker (he must have been abused by a man at some point), with love and companionship. Phone (203) 281-1632 or email petejhnsn@sbcglobal.net.

LOST CAT! Shamus
is about 8 years old; 10 lbs or so. My male orange tabby is lost. He is an indoor-only cat who escaped our garage Saturday afternoon. He is vision impaired - only has one good eye and not 100% vision in that eye. He was lost around the intersection of Townsend Ave and Frost St on the East Shore of New Haven. We have searched in the area around our home daily and have notified our neighbors but so far without success. Please contact me day or night. Thank you!

Osborne
is a light orange and white male cat who was rescued from an apartment complex in New Haven. He is a young adult and has been vaccinated and neutered. Moses needs to be placed in a home where there is not a lot of activity, and would probably do best in a home without children. He may have been abused, as he cries at times and acts out if startled. He is a bit nervous, but does get along with other cats. Please contact Sue Ann at (203) 468-7536.
