Found Cat!
Found in the New Haven/West Haven area, this wonderful male kitty would love to return to his home. Contact Krista at klphoto@aol.com.

Missing Cat!
My cat has been missing since January 22nd. His home is on Bradley St in New Haven's East Rock area. He is an indoor-outdoor kitty, a tall pointy nose cat, brown with black stripes and slightly notched ears. He is very friendly and affectionate and very much missed but usually does not venture far, so I am quite worried. His name is Ra but will respond to "Kitty-meow". Call Kelly at (434) 825-3083 or email grrendell@gmail.com.

Lost Cat - Reward!
We lost our cat Spirit last July 26th around Stony Hill Village, Brookfield, CT. She answers to "Spirit" or "Mama". If she is alive, she could be anywhere. We are still very heart broken and still looking for her. Mama is a very affectionate female tabby which loves to be petted. Mama's upper teeth are broken in half, which differentiates her from other tabby cats. If you have seen a cat with these features, please contact Johanna at jschrader1969@yahoo.com or call any of these numbers: (203) 775-0265, (203) 247-4550 or (203) 926-4543.

CAT of the MONTH
Parker
Marshmallow at its best! Parker is a DSH white male kitten who is about 1 year old. Parker was rescued from a parking lot in New Haven with a couple of his littermates, all but 1, Veronica, who have successfully found homes. He is very playful and affectionate and would be a great companion. A white cat is rare among the GNHCP foster cats, and Parker knows how special this makes him – visitors seek him out which has boosted his confidence, so much so that as soon as you begin to pet him, he purrs. If you are interested in meeting Parker, please contact The Greater New Haven Cat Project, Inc. at (203) 782-CATS or email them a message! The GNHCP has many other cats and kittens looking for good homes. Click on "Cats for Adoption" at left to view our adoptable felines!
Interested in adopting a kitten? Sure, they're adorable, but bringing a new pet into your home is a BIG commitment! If you haven't lived with a kitten or cat before, we suggest that you check out What to Consider Before Adopting a Pet at the Humane Society website. You might also consider the benefits of Adopting a Mature Cat. The GNHCP screens all potential adopters very carefully and we also have a few specific policies that you should know about before you consider adopting from us. Click here to read our adoption procedures.

We depend on TAX DEDUCTIBLE DONATIONS to finance our activities. Please click here and use our secure connection to make an online contribution to help us find homes for stray or abandoned cats, humanely address and control the feral cat population in the greater New Haven area, promote responsible pet ownership through spaying or neutering and provide information and education. You also may send your donation by mail to: GNHCP, P.O. Box 1432, New Haven, CT 06506. Thanks for your support!
If you'd like your donation to help a cat with special needs, the "TOMMY FUND" is specifically maintained for this purpose. Click here for more information about our targeted fund for cats requiring unusual medical attention.
Volunteers Needed! If you'd like to volunteer with The Greater New Haven Cat Project, Inc. please send us a message. We're always looking for more people to join in our efforts to end cat overpopulation and suffering in the New Haven area and beyond.
If you own a farm or stable, the GNHCP is in need of barn homes for feral and semi-feral cats. Click on the barn for more information!
