October 16th: Global Cat Day
In honor of Global Cat Day, The Greater New Haven Cat Project is running a 1-day online fundraising campaign on Thursday, October 16th, 2025. This fundraiser will help us reach our end of year spay/neuter goals for feral cats.
GNHCP is in need of funds in order to continue our mission of humanely addressing the feral cat population through trap/neuter/return (TNR) in the Greater New Haven area. After the COVID-19 pandemic, we were not able to spay/neuter as many feral cats due to many of our veterinary partners being closed or operating with reduced their hours. We also were unable to run our usual in-person fundraisers in order to keep our volunteers and the community safe.
Please help us continue to improve the lives of feral cats through our TNR program. Your donation dollars during the online fundraiser will go a long way towards helping us meet our 2025 spay/neuter goals and ensure that feral cats are also provided shelters to get them through the winter.
