October 16th: Global Cat Day

In honor of National Feral Cat Day, The Greater New Haven Cat Project is running a 1-day online fundraising campaign on Wednesday, October 16th, 2019. This fundraiser will help us reach our end of year spay/neuter goals for feral cats.

GNHCP is in dire need of funds in order to continue our mission of humanely addressing the feral cat population through trap/neuter/return (TNR) in the Greater New Haven area. Due to a number of cats needing extraordinary help this year, funds originally allocated for our TNR program have had to be directed to unforeseen veterinary expenses for some of our foster cats.

Please help us continue to improve the lives of feral cats through our TNR program. Your donation dollars during the online fundraiser will go a long way towards helping us meet our 2019 spay/neuter goals and ensure that feral cats are also provided shelters to get them through the winter.

Donation Tiers

  • $25 will ensure a cat gets their FVRCP and Rabies vaccines - both important for overall cat health

  • $50 covers the cost of neutering a cat

  • $100 covers the cost of spaying a cat

  • $250 will help us cover the full veterinary services for 2 cats (FVRCP and Rabies vaccinations for 2 cats, 1 neuter, and 1 spay). This helps prevent the birth of 12 additional kittens.
